Product Information

STANDARDIZED COUPLING WITHOUT CRIMPING

A standardized coupling without crimping is achieved with the Soft CliP prosthesis - a titanium stapes prosthesis which features the KURZ CliP technology. The prosthesis is coupled medially and laterally in the direction of the acoustic signal (FSound) to optimize the acoustic transmission.

Open zones help facilitate vascular supply to the mucosa. Even at high frequencies, titanium is an advantageous prosthetic material due to its low mass, exceptional acoustic transmission properties and biocompatibility. A specially designed Soft CliP Hook eases the coupling.

Developed in close collaboration with Dr. med. Schimanski, Luenen, and Dr. Ing. Eiber, ITM, Stuttgart, Germany.

Benefits

  • Standardized insertion procedure
  • Optimized signal transmission
  • Vascular supply preserved
  • Reduced risk of pressure necrosis
